Adventure was almost my middle name, but they chose "Patrick".

June 14, 2015 Brendan McWilliams

Adventure is a dying beast in today's world.  Between GPS, helmet laws,
OSHA, overly concerned parents, and well engineered zoo containment pens,
life has become longer, safer, and better organized than ever before, but the
unfulfilled need to occasionally look death in the face has left many members of
the human race restless and irritable.  At Darkvale Studios, we offer an
opportunity to scratch this itch with a visit to our lovely and grim Emporium.
Strange and ominous artifacts from the darker corners of this mysterious planet
have been arriving on our loading dock for several weeks now, and a quick swipe
of the credit card can put you face to face with dusty ancient terrors, now
safely mounted behind glass and adorned with laboratory tags, but unsettling
nonetheless.  Our staff of adventurers and artisans, jaded from years of rubbing
elbows with the reaper, have labored to bring you the very spirit of peril,
without all the bleeding and screaming.  Our stock grows every week, as we
receive and uncrate new mysteries and make them available as quickly as we can
identify them, so check back often, and please spread the word and help us grow
our audience.  Prices are negotiable, and every piece has a unique story; kindly
click around and let us know what speaks to you.   Danger and Destiny, as it
turns out, are every bit as shippable as a pair of Gilmore Girls themed socks
from Amazon, so put the internet to good use and bring home a piece of
otherworldly madness to display next to your "Regional Sales Rep of the Year"
trophy.  Let all who visit you know that the Spirit of Adventure hasn't died in
you yet.
